When and where are Town Board Meetings held?
Meetings are held every second Tuesday of the month at the Town Hall at 7:00 P.M. unless otherwise posted and/or published.  Notices are posted at the Town Hall, the old Recycling Center on Highway Z and Greenwoods at the intersection of Highways R and 147. Winter meetings will be held at the Maribel Community Center.


Open Burning Summary (3-10):
**Before burning grass, leaves, wood, or any other controlled fire, within the Town of Cooperstown, the Maribel Fire Department shall be notified of the address at which the burning will take place, the name of the responsible person, and his or her telephone number. Please call Paul Rabas for a permit at (920) 863-2813**

ELECTIONS
Voting/Election Information: Polling hours are from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm at the Cooperstown Town Hall, 11626 Hwy Z, Maribel, WI 54227.  New voter registration is required and proof of residence is required when registering.  The 2012 election dates are: Feb 21st primary if needed, April 3rd Spring election, August 14th Partisan Primary and November 6th General Election.   If interested in becoming an election worker please contact the clerk for more information.  Workers are needed.


TOWN BOARD ELECTION:
The first day to circulate nomination papers is Dec. 1, 2011 and the final day for filing nomination papers is 5 p.m. on January 3, 2012. Two year positions: 2 Supervisors. Nomination papers can be obtained from the Clerk, by calling 863-3261.
