April 3, 2008 Notice of Open House- Comprehensive Plans
NOTICE OF OPEN HOUSES Manitowoc County Residents Your Input is Needed! Manitowoc County and several of its municipalities are currently participating in a countywide process to develop Comprehensive Plans. In an effort to gather public input during the planning process, three public Open Houses have been scheduled throughout the county. These open houses will also give citizens and other interested individuals a chance to review background information which will become part of the Comprehensive Plans. Background information to be displayed includes: • Maps of land uses and physical features; • Population and housing trends and projections; and • Economic and labor force characteristics. The background inventory and analysis will be referred to when establishing goals to guide the development/preservation strategies of the 20-year Comprehensive Plans for the county and participating communities. Manitowoc County and Bay-Lake Regional Planning Commission staff will be available to answer questions, discuss future steps in the planning process, distribute informational handouts, and gather your valuable input. Manitowoc County Comprehensive Planning Open Houses: Wednesday, April 23, 2008 @ Reedsville High School - 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2008 @ Two Rivers City Hall - 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2008 @ Eaton Town Hall - 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please plan on attending an Open House near you. Your comments will be vital in the preparation of your community’s Comprehensive Plan along with the Manitowoc County Comprehensive Plan!!
