COOPERSTOWN PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING April 2007 Meeting called to order by Bill Angoli at 7:00 pm April 2, 2007 at Town Hall. Roll call: Present--Chairman Bill Angoli, Secretary Dave Blakeslee, Bill Enz, Pam Kouba, Fred Lemens ( 4 ) Citizens in attendance Pledge of Allegiance Approval of April Agenda, motion by B. Enz, second by F. Lemens, carried 5/0 Approval of March 5, 2007 Minutes with corrections, motion by F. Lemens, second by B. Enz, carried 5/0 Public Input: Theresa Norman acknowledged the Commission for the excellent job they are doing. New Business: 1. B. Angoli indicated to date four (4) applications had been submitted for the open positions to the planning commission. B. Angoli will make inquires of the Clerk and Board members for additional applications and assemble information packets for the Annual Meeting Old Business: 1. Critical Facility Map was presented to the Commission and reviewed. D. Blakeslee will make the corrections and transfer data, then submit to the Clerk to bring before the Town Board on April 17, 2007. 2. Zoning brochure was submitted to County Park and Planning. No comments to date. Item is still before the Town Board. 3. Revised Review Questionnaire was presented by B. Angoli for Commission comments. 4. Farmland map for reference purposes only, presented by D. Blakeslee, showing acreage in Town enrolled in the Farmland Preservation tax credit program in 1980. D. Blakeslee reversed his thinking that the Comprehensive Plan needed text changes. The Town has adopted County Farmland Preservation Plan policies. The Commission needs to acquire a copy of the County Exclusive Ag Ordinance as required by SS 91. 5. General Plan Map 8.4 designates Industrial sites. F. Lemens questioned the appropriateness of this designation. These areas are nonmetallic surface mines zoned A3. They are not areas for industrial development. B. Angoli will ask Bay Lakes Commission for comments. Other Commission Business Dannen & Janssen Onsite minutes approval, carried over to May 7th meeting. Correspondence Letter to County Board read by B. Enz that County Board minutes were in error: The present Town of Cooperstown Board did not overturn the previous Town Board zoning vote. The present Town Planning Commission did not review the issue. Next Commission meeting -- Monday May 7th, 2007 7:00 pm Motion to Adjourn by B. Enz, second by P.
