COOPERSTOWN PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES Onsite Review meeting June 2, 08 at 6:16 p.m. corner of Greenstreet Rd and Marshek Rd. Present: B Enz, D Blakeslee, F Lemens, T Kapinos, P Kouba excused. Rameker’s showed the property to be rezoned, and defined the boundaries and answered questions. On site adjourned to Town Hall for Public Hearing at 6: 40 p.m. Meeting called to order by Chmn. Lemens on June, 2nd 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall Roll Call: Present--F Lemens, David Blakeslee, Bill Enz, Tom Kapinos Pam Kouba excused, ( 6) Citizens present Pledge Allegiance Approval of Agenda--Motion by B Enz 2nd T Kapinos carried 4/0 Public Hearing called to order by Chmn Lemens at 7:02 p.m. Zoning request from Paul Rameker for 7.2 ac A2 of 55 Ac A3 for building a retirement home. Public comment 3 calls for opposition--none received Call for favorable--Paul Rameker, Roger Schieder and Nancy Weber each expressed a view that this site would be good for a building and made good use of the old homestead site. Public comment closed at 7:08 p.m.. Chmn Lemens read through the zoning questionnaire and made note of comments. B Enz expressed his approval of what the Rameker’s are requesting. F Lemens expressed his approval of what the zone request asked. T Kapinos made a motion to recommend approval of 7.2 ac A2. B Enz 2nd carried 4/0 Chmn Lemens would present the formal recommendation for the Town Board review. Returned to Regular Monthly meeting Approval of Minutes--Motion by D Blakeslee 2nd B Enz carried 4/0 PUBLIC INPUT -- none NEW BUSINESS ITEM 1. Nancy Kane presented zoning status: Parcel was created 19th Nov. 1974 and recorded 22nd Jan 1975 Deed # 496931 Original sales Deed #642184 10th July 1988. This is a non conforming A3 lot created before 1979 and thus can be built on without rezoning. OLD BUSINESS ITEM 1. Zoning Procedure update: F Lemens will edit for distribution at July meeting. ITEM 2. PC Ord. approved by Town Board: main points, members serve for 3 years rotations, at least one Town Board member serve on commission. ITEM 3. Sub-division Ord. update: no word back from J Van Lanen (BLRPC) on suggested language.
