COOPERSTOWN PLANNING COMMISSION 
MARCH MEETING MINUTES


Meeting called to order by Chmn. Lemens on March 2, 2009, at 7:00 p.m.
at Denmark State Bank (Maribel)
Roll Call: Present--Fred Lemens, Bill Enz, David Blakeslee, Tom
Kapinos, and Pam Kouba

PUBLIC INPUT -- none

OLD BUSINESS
ITEM 1. Comprehensive Plan
a factory farms - change ch.8-8 from 500 to 750 animal units and add a
reference to the County Ord Chapter 28.
b add a paragraph (similar in language to Town of Franklin) on page
8-6 of Plan Book. Specific language to be submitted to Commission for
approval.
c Land Use and General Plan maps make a word change designating non
metallic mining where industrial is presently denoted.

ITEM 2. Chmn Lemens sent the consultant applicants’ letters indicating
a postponement in the selection process until the 2010 census results
can be tabulated.

ITEM 3. Land Division Ord discussion to the affect that the Town may
not have the ability to make recommendations of approval on a land
division but it certainly has ability to request that the division be
recorded with the Town, and a Town Seal affixed to documentation.
Commission  to determine a procedural outline.
