ORDINANCE COMMITTEE BOARD MEETING January 18, 2012

The Ordinance Committee of the Town of Cooperstown, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, convened in open session on January 18, 2012 at 7:00 p.m., at the Mike Albers’ home for the purpose of transacting business as directed by the Town Board.                                                                                                  

 

Roll Call: Mike Albers, Jerry Skarda and Sue Kornely

 

The committee reviewed the agenda items.

 

The committee revised the building permit application and wrote a new razing/moving building out of town permit application. Questions to be addressed- assessment of well only on property, what is an assessable structure?

 

Amend Chapter 1 to include compensation and expenses 1.08(a) for Committees/Boards section

 

Discussed Weight Limits- currently all town roads are Class A- Chapter 6

 

Penalty/Fees Chapter – no action.

 

Discussed a General Variance form- seeking a variance to any ordinance in the Cooperstown Code of Ordinances will be heard before the Town Board. Form to include: Name, address, reason for variance request. A variance requires a public hearing.

 

Items to be added to Town Board agenda: Building Permit application revision, Razing/Moving Building out of Town permit application, policy on receipted/non-receipted expenditures

 

Meeting adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
